Fast, Easy, Convenient!

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) is the Dallas area’s regional transit system. DART is also the best way to get to downtown Dallas for the Dallas Holiday Parade. The agency’s rail stations and bus stops get you within blocks of the parade route.

DART trains operate daily from approximately 5 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week.

Trip Planning:

To plan your journey, use the “Plan” tool in the GoPass app, visit DART.org, call DART Customer Service at 214-979-1111, or use the Transit option in Google Maps.

You can look up train and bus schedules at DART.org/schedules.

By Train:

The DART rail stations conveniently get you within walking distance of viewing areas for the parade, so you don’t miss any of the action.

· St. Paul, Akard, and West End stations (Red, Blue, Orange or Green Line)

· EBJ/Union Station (Red or Blue Line and Trinity Railway Express/TRE)

· Dallas Streetcar – Union Station stop

Purchasing DART Passes

We recommend that you buy a DART Day Pass, which is valid for unlimited rides on the date of purchase. Adult, Child, and Senior passes are available. 

If you travel solely on the DART system, you need a local pass. If you start your journey on the Trinity Metro or DCTA transit systems and transfer to DART, you will need to purchase a regional pass.

Here are three ways to buy your DART pass:

· GoPass Mobile App – Download the “DART GoPass” app for FREE in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

· Contactless Payment – Simply tap your card or device to a reader on a DART rail platform prior to boarding.   You must use a unique form of contactless payment for each rider.  Your contactless card or digital wallet serves as your ticket and proof of payment.  The system will automatically charge you for adult fare.

· Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs)– If you prefer a traditional pass, you can buy one at DART's newer touch screen ticket vending machines which accept cash, credit or debit cards or tap to pay mobile wallets.
